Yes, it's Thursday, not Wednesday! I know!
Supplies for this week - 1 piece of patterned paper cut into an approximately 9" circle - can be a bit bigger or smaller. I used one that had a repetitive grid of Disney characters on it and the inspiration page also uses a grid with different colored squares. The squares cut into a circle give a neat effect, but any patterned paper should work.
1 piece of 12x12 cardstock for your background
2 large white circles & 2 scallop circles either the same color or 2 different colors on which to mat the white circles
2 6" border punched pieces
1 4" border punched piece of a different shape (or small punched shapes put together to form a border (I used tiny hearts)
5-10 small embellishments (buttons, small punches, gems, etc)

Mystery Scrap '12 Week 14 - Monday
So, I JUST realized I never posted my page on Friday. That's probably because I don't feel like it's complete yet. I haven't done any journaling and don't think the page needs it story-wise, but I do think it needs it design-wise. I'm trying to finish up my Disney album before the Crop (May 5). Some of these last few pages are just pictures with the different characters at Hollywood Studios. There's not really much to say about them. :-(
Anyway - this week, the page we're making will be 3 portrait sized pictures - 2.5"x3.75" tall. I matted mine with a white mat. Check back Wednesday for the rest of the supplies needed and have a great week!

Mystery Scrap '12 Week 13 - Wednesday
OOOHHHH!!!! We had a meeting about Crop for a Cause last night and I'm even more pumped than I was before. Add to the fact that we're just about booked already and I'm flying high!
Supplies for this week's page:
1 piece of 12x12 for background
stickers or Pazzles/Cricut cut letters or chipboard - I used a different color for each word in my title. The inspiration page artist used one color for the first word and a different color for each letter in the second word.
Grab your circle punch and paper scraps - I used 7 different patterned/solid color papers - the inspiration page used 3.
You'll also need a scrap (one of the same as above) .5"x3"
You can journal right on the page OR you can print journaling on the color paper fed through you printer (if it's 12x12, cut it down to 8.5x11 and print as wide as you can. That will give the appearance of it being printed on your background paper - or pop it up with dimensionals to give it a neat effect!

Mystery Scrap '12 Week 13 - Monday
Good morning Scrappers! We had a lovely weekend - the girls went to their Grandmom & Granddad's house for the weekend and Chris & I went to two movies on Saturday (The Hunger Games & 21 Jumpstreet) with some Carraba's in between! Then Sunday I worked on this week's page before we met everyone for lunch. The afternoon was spent cleaning up and I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't take all that long to get the house looking ship shape! Cooper got another bath. It's now about 5 weeks post-skunking and he still smells terrible when it rains (which it did A LOT) this weekend. Anyway... on to this week's page. You'll need 1 photo that is 5x7 portrait (or it could be 5x6 or 4.5 x 6). Then, you have a couple choices - you could do a landscape 4x6 or 2 portraits printed on a 4x6. I used a 4.5x6.25 with a 4.75x 6.5 mat and 2 4"tall by 3" wide portrait matted the same as my larger portrait. Check back Wednesday to find out what supplies you'll need to complete the page!

Mystery Scrap '12 Week 12 Wednesday
To create this page, you'll want to pull together the following supplies...
1 piece of 12x12 background paper (solid color)
6 mats in a contrasting color for the 2.5"x3.5" pictures
qty 6 - # of pictures you selected from Monday - solid color cardstock 2.5"x3.5"
sticker border OR punched shapes - I used several different sizes of stars to create a border effect or you could use a repetitive punch like a circle and jazz it up
title stickers/Cricut or Pazzles letters

Mystery Scrap '12 Week 12 Monday
Ok - this week I'm getting back on track! (I hope!)
The page for this week will require anywhere from 3-5 portrait oriented pictures that are 2.5"x3.5" (to be matted) OR 2.75"x3.75" if you don't plan to mat them.
There will be a grid with 6 spaces, so, if you have a lot of journaling, use fewer pictures so you can have more than one journaling spot. Makes sense?
See you back here Weds!

Mystery Scrap '12 Week 11 Friday
I feel like a slacker when it comes to my little blog right now. Fortunately, the reasons for my slackerness on the blog stem from working on my "balance" of everything else. I'm keeping my house in shape, my laundry mostly caught up & exercising more regularly than I have in quite a while. On top of that, the plans for Crop for a Cause are moving right along. SO - please bear with me over the next couple months. Hopefully, my posts will be more timely, but I'm not promising anything!
So - the supplies you'll need for this week's page are pretty minimal.
One square of solid color or patterned paper the same size as your pictures. and letter stickers, cricut/Pazzles cut letters. I created the pages digitally, but you could run white cardstock through your printer and mount on white 12x12 to achieve a similar effect. My plan is to do these interviews with the girls each year around their birthdays. Now, I wonder if I could get Chris to do one, too...

Mystery Scrap Week '12 Week 11
I still haven't posted Wednesday and Friday for last week's Mystery Scrap. I will, I promise, just not sure exactly when. We had a fun-filled weekend, but unfortunately that didn't include any scrapbook time for me!
This week, I want to do something a little different. I'll tell you ahead of time, this week's page is based on a page/template by Cathy Zielske. She's written several books on Clean & Simple Scrapbooking. Her pages are just that - clean & simple and I love her style. Back when I was doing my first Layout a Day (I think it was the first one I did) - I saw tons of people doing this as their page and thought it was such a neat idea. So during this LOAD, I made it a point to do one of these pages for each of my girls.
You will need to pick one person and find 2-3 square pictures of them 2.75x2.75 or 3x3.
On Wednesday, I'll give you not only the supplies that you'll need for this (which aren't many since it's Clean & Simple!) but also interview questions to ask the person that you've picked. This could be a child, a parent, your husband or a friend. You could even do an imaginary one with your cat or dog! If you are interviewing an adult and certain questions don't seem to pertain, come up with a new one. Be creative!
Ok - see you Wednesday!
